Date Sold 2/28/2008Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. 10 Original Vintage Pieces of Movie Poster Concept Art (measure between 15 1/2" x 22 1/2" and 25" x 36") (Learn More) This is a special lot of 10 pieces of concept art that were produced as alternative designs for movie posters! The art comes in a variety of shapes and sizes. The concept art pieces included in this lot are from the following movies: 2 of The Little Drummer Girl (both 15 1/2" x 22 1/2"), A Stranger is Watching (16" x 20"); Mrs. Soffel (15 1/2" x 22 1/2"); Exposed (19" x 25 1/2"); Cat's Eye (20" x 30"); 2 of the Secret of NIMH (20" x 30"); The Falcon & The Snowman (20" x 30"); and Romancing the Stone (25" x 36"). Note that we do not know when these were created, or for what purpose they were created. None of them appear to be original artwork, but rather "veloxes" (high quality copies) that were cut up and made into these pieces of concept art. Each of which is on a heavy board or piece of foamcore. If anyone knows more about any of these, please e-mail us and we will post it here. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this jumbo window card will need to be sent in a very large flat package that measures approximately 27" x 38" x 3" high, so please bear the shipping costs of this very large package in mind BEFORE you place a bid! Also note that the concept art from "The Falcon & the Snowman" has a piece of paper attached across the center (it seems that it was intentionally done), but it is easily removable, and we photographed it both with and without that piece of paper, and those two images are in the bottom left of our image (which is why there are 11 images, but only 10 items in the lot).
