An Autographed Color 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] REPRODUCTION Still (Learn More) Ben Chapman was an actor in the 1950s. He is best remembered for playing the "Gill Man" on land in Creature From the Black Lagoon (Ricou Browning played him in the underwater sequences). Some of his other movies include: Pagan Love Song, and Hawaiian Nights. He passed away in 2008 at the age of 79. Important Added Info: Note that this REPRODUCTION still has been personally autographed (signed) by Ben Chapman! Note that this item was consigned to us by a man who has been a major movie memorabilia dealer from the 1980s on. During that time, he would regularly purchase collections of movie memorabilia from both dealers and collectors, and in some of those collections he purchased autographed items. Both we and our consignor feel it is quite likely that the autograph on this item is authentic, but he does not have a certificate of authenticity. Condition: good to very good. The signature was signed with a gold paint pen, and it has very slightly smudged (as seen in our image). Also. the REPRO was glued to a mat or album page at one time and there is paper residue on the back, but it has no effect on the front, and the REPRO is otherwise in nice condition!
