While the City Sleeps, the 1928 Jack Conway silent gangster detective crime melodrama ("Story and scenario by A.P. Younger"; in a change of pace, Chaney is not "a crook", but rather he is a detective who is "an arch-foe of crooks") starring Lon Chaney Sr. ("His Best Underworld Film!"; "Lon Chaney in a picture of 1001 thrills"), Anita Page, Carroll Nye, Wheeler Oakman, and Mae Busch

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that this poster has been trimmed and it now measures 14" x 19 1/4" [36 x 49 cm]. Also note that this window card was never folded. Often window cards would be folded across the middle, because that would make them 11" x 14", and they could then be sent with standard folded posters. Most collectors put an added value on a window card that has never been folded.

Condition: good to very good. The card was attached to a frame with nails, and they caused stains and smudges around the edges. When someone removed it from the frame, it caused some tears in the left border, and they put clear tape on the front of those tears. But the actual image is only very slightly affected, and is in surprisingly nice condition. The card could be framed and enjoyed just as it is, or it would be an easy restoration job for any talented restorer that would require almost no restoration within the image area.
