An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Half-Sheet Movie Poster (1/2sh; measures 22" x 28" [56 x 71 cm]) (Learn More)

Tillie, the 1922 Frank Urson silent Pennsylvania Dutch Mennonite romantic love triangle religious melodrama ("Adapted from the novel by Helen R. Martin and the play by Helen R. Martin & Frank Howe, Jr."; about a teenage girl from a Pennsylvania Dutch farming family, who will inherit a lot of money, but only if she becomes a Mennonite before she turns 18, and there are two men, one a Mennonite and one an outsider, and both want to marry her) starring Mary Miles Minter (in the title role as Tillie Getz), Noah Beery Sr., Allan Forrest, Lucien Littlefield, and Lillian Leighton. Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist.

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that ANY movie paper from this movie is incredibly rare. We have only previously auctioned two lobby cards and two glass slides from this movie until we received this half-sheet in 2019, and that very same poster has now been reconsigned to us for this auction, so it is still the only poster we have ever auctioned from this movie!

Condition: very good to fine. The poster was never folded. It has some smudges and dot stains in parts of the borders and a faint partial diagonal crease in the bottom center. But other than the above, the poster is in excellent condition, and is not fragile or darkened, which is a big plus for a poster that is this old. It surely has survived in about as good condition as one could have hoped!
