An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4" [8 x 10 cm]) (Learn More) Fox Movietone Follies of 1929 (also released simply as "Fox Movietone Follies"), the 1929 David Butler romantic musical comedy ("All singing, dancing, talking revue"; "All talking - All singing - All dancing"; "Presented by William Fox"; about a rich young man in love with an aspiring Broadway starlet, and he can't get her to focus on him instead of her career, so he buys the show she is in, and has her fired, but that still doesn't get her interested in him!) starring Sue Carol, Lola Lane, Sharon Lynn, Dixie Lee (who was Bing Crosby's first wife), John Breeden, David Percy, David Rollins, Frank Richardson, and Stepin Fetchit. Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: fair to good. There is a slightly diagonal vertical crack running down the left of the image. Someone put a piece of clear tape over that area to protect the glass.
