the international theatrical release of Helicopter Spies, the 1967 Boris Sagal spy espionage action comedy spoof (adapted from the TV series "The Man from U.N.C.L.E."; "New Excitement! Newest U.N.C.L.E. Thriller!") starring Robert Vaughn (as Napoleon Solo; best remembered from this TV series as well as the "Helsinki Hair Formula" infomercials), David McCallum (as Ilya Kuryakin), Carol Lynley, Bradford Dillman, Leo G. Carrol, John Dehner, John Carradine, and Julie London (billed as "Special Guest Appearance Julie London"). Note that this TV series (inspired by the super popular James Bond movies) was one of the most successful ever in the history of TV, and it was SO successful that a feature film was made from the pilot episode and distributed internationally in movie theaters, and that movie did so well that an amazing seven more similar movies (compiled from different episodes) were released internationally as well!

Condition: good to very good. The poster had small paper loss at the crossfolds and fine surface paper loss on parts of some foldlines (typical of high-gloss posters of this period). There were pinholes around the edges of the poster. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
