An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Morals Squad, the 1960 Barry Mahon crime police action sexploitation melodrama ("It's a Raid!!!"; "You are there on an actual surprise vice raid! Behind the scenes where LOVE is bought and sold!"; "Blasts open the sins of a city!") starring Bob O'Connell, Beverly Bennett, Vincent Barbi (billed as "Vince Barbi"), Jeri Archer, and Maritza. Note that director Barry Mahon had a fascinating life that could fill several movies! He was an American pilot for England in World War II and he was shot down and put in a POW camp, and he escaped and was the basis for the Steve McQueen character in the movie "The Great Escape" (Mahon also loved motorcycles). He became Errol Flynn's pilot and later Errol Flynn's manager. He then made many sexploitation "nudie cuties" movies in the 1950s and 1960s, but at the end of his career, he made a drastic shift, and made several children's movies (perhaps he found religion?). Important Added Info: Note that in recent months we auctioned a collection of sexploitation one-sheets that included many rare titles from a single collector, and last month we auctioned the last of that collection. NOW, we have been consigned a different collection which includes even more very rarely seen titles! In this set of auctions we auctioned the first group of one-sheet from this new collection, and there are 148 different ones(all are in separate auctions), and they include a number of posters that we have only auctioned once or twice before. There are also a number with great images or taglines. This is an excellent opportunity to add one or more of these rare one-sheets to your collection, and, like the previous collection we auctioned, this consignor also only had one of each title, so on the rare ones, it may be quite some time before we offer the same title again! Condition: good. The poster has several inches of vertical separation at center and some creases, defects, areas of paper loss and tears of varying lengths along parts of some edges (see our image).
