If anyone knows more about this poster, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Artist: Burrage Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster was never folded. It had pinholes and a few tears around the edges, with two areas of paper loss in the right of the top border, extending into the background area, and a 2" x 1/2" area of paper loss in the upper right border, extending slightly into the skin of the elephant. It had a few small tears and scuffs scattered in the image, including in the "AFRI" of "AFRICA". Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects. Learn More about condition grades
