Date Sold 9/1/2024Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. a lot of 8 stereoscopic slides showing images of black African Americans, some with captions (most of which unfortunately reinforce the stereotypes of that time, including a black man on trial before a white judge saying "'deed Jedge I aint stole no chicken." and another with an image of black children eating with a quote "Dey 'aint no use in talkin', we jes had one scrumptious time."). Note that these were made to be used with an original 1923 Stereoscopic Slide Viewer that was sold to the general public in 1923. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. We do not provide a list of these items, but there are images of the front and back of all of them.
