A Folded Polish Special Poster (measures 26 1/4" x 28" [67 x 71 cm]) (Learn More)

Internationales Jahr des Kindes (literally translates to "International Year of the Child"), the 1979 Polish poster (in German!) promoting the UN General Assembly's proclamation from 1976 to 1979 that children's needs should be given more attention worldwide. Note that, while working groups attempted to draft a Convention of the Rights of the Child at this time, the convention was not adopted until 1989. Also note that this poster features art by Karol Sliwka!
