An Undated (probably 1920s) Re-Release Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures 3 1/4" x 4" [8 x 10 cm]) (Learn More) The Redemption of David Corson, the 1914 Frederick A. Thomson silent Quaker religious redemption melodrama short ("David Frohman presents: the famous American actor William Farnum in the famous tale of a derelict's regeneration"; "In motion pictures. Four parts."; based on the novel by Charles Frederick Gross) starring William Farnum (in the title role as David Corson), Robert Broderick, Constance Mollineaux, Hal Clarendon, Helen Aubrey, and William Cowper. Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). This slide is the kind that has two panes of glass that are taped together with black tape around all four edges (front and back), typical of many older glass slides. We have provided a high quality scan of the image, but we have not taken a photo of the slide, because there would really be very little to see! Condition: good. There is a vertical line in Farnum's mouth and chin that is in the image. Learn More about condition grades
