Date Sold 5/14/2019Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. An Autographed 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] REPRODUCTION Photo (Learn More) Paul L. Smith (Paul Smith) was an actor from the 1960s to the 1990s. He started in movies in the 1960s, after having been a bodyguard and a bouncer, but he had little success in movies until Bud Spencer starred in a series of Italian movies with Terence Hill, and Paul Smith, who looked like Spencer, went to Italy and appeared in several movies there, which gave him the measure of fame! He had a noticeable role in Midnight Express as a sadistic guard, but likely he is best remembered for playing Bluto in Robert Altman's Popeye. He passed away in 2012 in Israel at the age of 75. Important Added Info: Note that this REPRODUCTION photo (which is not on photo paper and was printed on a copier) has been personally autographed (signed) by Paul L. Smith.
