Robertson family relationship bitter divorce melodrama ("From the sensational Broadway stage success"; "From the play by Leopold L'Atlas"; a very unusual and downbeat movie dealing with the then taboo topic of divorce and its effect on children; a young son discovers his mother cheating on his father, and yet he testifies against the father at the custody hearing, and is turned over to his mother, and his father soon finds a new love as well, and the boy is very depressed and yet both parents neglect him and plan to send him to military school, until there is a tacked on happy ending) starring Edward Arnold, Karen Morley, Frankie Thomas (billed as "introducing the juvenile wonder of the screen"), Shirley Grey, and Frank Conroy. This is a forgotten movie that has apparently not dated well, but it is still quite notable for its early depiction of a divorce scenario that is nowadays all too common, but which at that time was rarely seen or talked about.
