Then Howard Hughes left him $156,000,000."; "A true story?"; based on the supposedly true story of Melvin Dummar, who met Howard Hughes in the desert, and Hughes gave him a handwritten will that reversed his regular will, and after Hughes' death, Dummar came forward with the handwritten will, and after a long court fight, it was thrown out; I have read much on this, and I think there is a very real possibility the will was valid!) starring Paul Le Mat (in the title role as Melvin Dummar), Jason Robards Jr. (nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film; in the title role as Howard Hughes), Mary Steenburgen (winner of the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film), Jack Kehoe, and Michael J.
