An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More)

Love Thy Neighbor, the 1940 Mark Sandrich romantic musical comedy (about Benny falling in love with Allen's niece, and the two men hate each other!) starring Jack Benny, Fred Allen, Mary Martin, Verree Teasdale, The Merry Macs, Virginia Dale, and Eddie 'Rochester' Anderson (billed as "Rochester"). Note that Jack Benny and Fred Allen had popular radio shows at the time, and they had a mock "feud" with each other on the air, and that inspired this wacky movie!

Important Added Info: The slide does not have a cardboard holder, but rather there is black tape around all four edges (front and back), typical of older glass slides. When we auction slides that have a cardboard holder, we provide a separate image of how the cardboard holder looks, but when we auction slides with the black tape (like this one) we only provide the scan of the glass slide image, because that really is about all there is to see.

Condition: very good to fine. The theater that used this slide wrote the days the movie was playing in the play dates section at the bottom of the glass.
