James Clavell's Shogun, the 1980 Jerry London Japanese/U.S. samurai adventure thriller TV mini-series ("A nation of violence, Samurai warriors... and forbidden love."; "The Epic adventure of feudal Japan, it's magnificent warriors and a love it would not allow."; "-Now a spectacular movie event."; based on the classic novel by James Clavell) starring Richard Chamberlain, Toshiro Mifune, Yoko Shimada, Frankie Sakai, and Alan Badel. Note that this mini-series proved to be so popular that it was given a two and a half hour theatrical release outside the U.S., and posters were created for that release.

Important Added Info: Note that this script is the final final final draft from May 1, 1979 and the screenplay was written by Eric Bercovici. The script was the personal property of dialect/dialog/language coach (and part time actor) Robert Easton (his name is written on the cover). Our consignor obtained this script from Mr. Easton's estate sale, but he does not have a certificate of authenticity. Included with the script is a letter from Paramount to Mr. Easton about dialog trimming.
