Date Sold 7/30/2024 Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. 3 Original Vintage Theatrical 7 1/4" x 9 1/2" [18 x 24 cm] Movie Stills (Learn More) Alfred Hitchcock's Dial M For Murder, the classic 1954 Alfred Hitchcock 3-D (3D; 3-Dimension) romantic love triangle crime murder mystery detective suspense thriller ("...is that you, darling?"; "Written by Frederick Knott who wrote the International Stage Success"; "If a woman answers... hang on for dear life!"; "Is this the man she was waiting for... or the man who was waiting for her?"; "Perfect 3 Dimension in the Hitchcock manner!") starring Ray Milland, Grace Kelly, Robert Cummings (Bob Cummings), John Williams, and Anthony Dawson. Note that, although this movie was filmed in 3-D, none of the original posters mention it at all (there is an explanation in the pressbook that because they know many theaters will not show it in 3-D, "the ads have been designed so that the 3D copy may be eliminated" [and obviously, this is why they did not put 3-D on the posters]). NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that these stills measure 7 1/4" x 9 1/2" [18 x 24 cm], but they have not been trimmed. Also note each still has a paper snipe on the back giving information about the scene on the front! Condition: good to very good.
