An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Canadian One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 28" x 43 1/2" [71 x 110 cm]) (Learn More)

Candy Baby, the 1968 B.H. Dial sexploitation movie ("Candy is dandy ...and nothing is quicker"; "The story of the wild live-in ...love-in parties") starring Cherie Winters, and Maharishi Narish Yogi. Note that this movie was released the same year as Candy, starring Marlon Brando, James Coburn, Richard Burton, and other big name stars. We suspect that the studio for that film threatened legal action over the title, and title snipes were used on existing posters to change the name to "Candid Baby".

Note that in recent months we started auctioning a wonderful collection of sexploitation one-sheets that includes many extremely rare titles from a single collector. This month there are 115 different ones (all are in separate auctions), and they include a number of posters that we have only auctioned once or twice before. There are also a number with great images or taglines. This is an excellent opportunity to add one or more of these rare one-sheets to your collection, and this consignor only had one of each title, so on the rare ones, it may be quite some time before we offer the same title again!

Condition: good. The poster has a huge snipe glued at top (see our image). The poster was folded somewhat oddly, resulting in irregular folds.
