An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10 1/4" [20 x 26 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) White Zombie, the 1932 Victor Halperin Haitian undead voodoo zombie monster horror thriller ("She was not alive... Nor dead... Just a White Zombie performing his every desire"; "They knew this fiend was practicing zombiism on the natives, but when he tried it on a white girl the nation revolted") starring Bela Lugosi (billed as "Bela [Dracula] Lugosi"; as "Murder" Legendre), Madge Bellamy, Joseph Cawthorn, Robert Frazer, and John Harron NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we normally don't auction stills in our major auctions, but this wonderful still, which measures 8" x 10 1/4" [20 x 26 cm], is super rare (we have only auctioned seven 1932 stills from this movie, and only one had a good image of Lugosi). The first release lobby cards are even more rare (we have only auctioned one, and that had a very small image of Lugosi, and it auctioned for $2,700). This still has a great portrait image of Lugosi with his undead voodoo minions! Condition: good to very good. There is a 1/2" tear in the left border that has a piece of tape on the back and a similar one in the lower right border. There are creases in the bottom right corner, with the tiniest of paper loss below it, and a few other creases around the edges, with some faint scuffs scattered in the image.
