An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Movie Window Card (WC; measures 14" x 22" [36 x 56 cm]) (Learn More) Silver Dollar, the 1932 Alfred E. Green rags-to-riches-to-rags political money melodrama (about a small town Colorado miner who strikes it rich in a silver mine; he uses his wealth to gain political power, he leaves his wife and marries his mistress, then when the introduction of the gold standard hits, he loses everything; apparently, this is based on a true story, and the man's wife went insane after they lost everything and froze to death in her own cabin) starring Edward G. Robinson, Bebe Daniels, Aline MacMahon, DeWitt Jennings, Robert Warwick, and Cora Sue Collins (a pretty blonde child actress of the early 1930s, who often played the star as a child; she appeared in many movies until 1945, when she retired at the age of 18, and she is still alive today) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that ANY movie paper from this movie is incredibly rare. We have only previously auctioned a pressbook, a herald, and some stills (and NO other movie paper of any kind) from this movie until we received this window card, which is the only poster we have auctioned! Condition: good to very good. The card has some faint smudges and scuffs scattered throughout. It has had no restoration and is otherwise in nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
