(released in some other English speaking countries as "Oh! For a Man!"), the 1957 Frank Tashlin advertising romantic comedy ("Broadway's howling success is on the screen!"; "Based on the Play written by George Axelrod and produced on the Stage by Jule Styne"; "Screen story and screen play by Frank Tashlin") starring Jayne Mansfield, Tony Randall (in the title role as Rockwell P. Hunter), Betsy Drake, Joan Blondell, John Williams, Henry Jones, Mickey Hargitay, Lili Gentle, Mickey Hargitay, Barbara Eden (in an uncredited role), and Groucho Marx (in an uncredited role) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this great candid shows the director, crew, and Tony Randall watching Jayne Mansfield being filmed while naked in a bathtub. One wonders if all eleven of these men REALLY needed to be there, especially Tony Randall! Also note that this still was printed with a "full-bleed", meaning it has no blank borders, but it still measures 8" x 10". This is something theaters sometimes did, because some theaters preferred these to ones with blank borders (often they would make them both ways, because some theaters preferred traditional stills). This is definitely from the first U.S. release in 1957! Condition: very good. Learn More about condition grades
