An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Double-Sided Advance Japanese "B1" Movie Poster (29x41; measures 28 1/2" x 40 1/2" [72 x 103 cm]) (Learn More) Nihon Chinbotsu (released in English-speaking countries as "Japan Sinks"), the 2006 Shinji Higuchi Japanese doomsday science fiction (sci-fi) adventure thriller starring Tsuyoshi Kusanagi, Ko Shibasaki, Etsushi Toyokawa, Mao Daichi, and Mitsuhiro Oikawa. Note that this was a remake of the 1973 film which had been released in the U.S. as Tidal Wave If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is a "country of origin" poster for this Japanese movie! Also note that this is an advance Japanese B1 poster (note the "7 15" at the bottom of the poster). Also note that this is a double-sided poster. From the 1990s on, movie posters were often made in double-sided versions (for use in light boxes). If we do not note that a poster is double-sided (as this is), then it is single-sided. Note that the image on the reverse is a mirror image of the image on the front! Finally, note that this is a rare Japanese "B1" poster that measures 28 1/2" x 40 1/2" [72 x 103 cm]! "B1" posters are FAR more rare than "B2" posters (which measure approximately 20" x 28 1/2"), and because they are larger (similar in size to a U.S. one-sheet), they are more impressive when displayed on a wall!
