An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More)

An Unwilling Hero, the 1921 Clarence G. Badger silent New Orleans Louisiana crime comedy ("Adapted from O. Henry's Famous Story 'Whistling Dick's Christmas Stocking'"; about a tramp who is in New Orleans, and he finds out other tramps are planning to rob a plantation on Christmas night, and he manages to foil their robbery, and the owners of the plantation offer him a job as a reward, so of course he leaves, because he would rather be a hobo than work for a living) starring Will Rogers, Molly Malone, John Bowers, Darrell Foss, and Jack Curtis. Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist.
NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
Important Added Info: Note that ANY movie paper items from this movie are incredibly rare. We have only previously auctioned a lobby card, single still, and a glass slide from this movie (and NO other movie paper). That lobby card has now been reconsigned to us, so it is still only one of three items we have auctioned from this movie! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has.

Condition: very good. There is a piece of brown paper tape on the back of each corner, but they were not put there for any restoration purpose. Otherwise, the card is in pretty nice condition!
