An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded German Movie Poster (measures 12 1/4" x 24 3/4" [31 x 63 cm]) (Learn More) Ton-Kino Wolfsegg (literally translates to "Sound-Cinema Wolfsegg"), the 1936 German local theater poster advertising the movies playing from July 25th to November 1st at the Ton-Kino theater in Wolfsegg, Germany. Some of the films playing include: Im Trommelfeuer der Westfront, Matrimonial Strike, and The Invisible Front If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is an extremely rare poster. We have never auctioned one in all our years of auctioning! There are very few German movie posters from during World War II in existence (because of the massive paper shortages in Germany during World War II), and most of those few are in museums. It is likely that German posters from during the Nazi era are even more rare than those from before that era, because most of those that survived the war would have been destroyed right after the war! Condition: very good. The poster was folded by hand once vertically and horizontally. It was printed on a very light paper and it has some light creases around the edges and scattered in the poster. Some of the edges have slightly lightened, but overall the rare poster is in nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
