An Original 1938 Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Young and Innocent (released in the U.S. in 1938 as "The Girl Was Young"), the 1937 Alfred Hitchcock English crime murder mistaken identity thriller ("Alfred Hitchcock's successor to '39 Steps'"; about a man who discovers a dead body and runs to report it to the police, but people see him running away and think he is the killer, and then he meets a beautiful young woman who believes him and tries to help him prove his innocence) starring Nova Pilbeam, Derrick De Marney, Percy Marmont, Edward Rigby, and Mary Clare NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this still is from a pretty remarkable collection of 20 Alfred Hitchcock stills we were consigned (which we are auctioning in 20 separate auctions). They include ones from many of his greatest movies, and six of them have wonderful candid images showing Hitchcock, and some of the non-candids are from movies where it is very hard to find top quality stills from.
