Searle Dawley silent romantic comedy (about a compulsive liar, who is sarcastically nicknamed "Miss George Washington", because she cannot tell the truth; she gets in lots of trouble, but worst of all, when she says she is married, and she ends up having to spend a night at an elderly couple's house with her "husband"!) starring Marguerite Clark (in the title role), Frank Losee, Niles Welch, Florence Martin and Joseph Gleason. Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). This slide is the kind that has two panes of glass that are taped together with black tape around all four edges (front and back), typical of many older glass slides. We have provided a high quality scan of the image, but we have not taken a photo of the slide, because there would really be very little to see! Condition: very good.
