An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Three-Sheet Movie Poster (3sh; measures 41" x 81" [104 x 206 cm]) (Learn More)

Buck Jones, the 1940s stock poster printed for use by theaters that were showing re-releases of Buck Jones movies. The theaters would either write in the name of the particular movie they were showing that day, or paste on a paper snipe with the title, and then they could later re-use the poster when they showed a different Buck Jones movie. Sometimes examples of the posters were overprinted with specific titles.

Important Added Info: Note that this particular stock poster was used to show a re-release of the 1935 movie, "Border Brigands", and it was overprinted with that title. Of course, Border Brigands is the 1935 Nick Grinde Royal Canadian Mounted Police Mountie cowboy western ("Buck Jones meets a riding rival...a girl!", "Mysterious Diane, galloping furiously across the U.S. Canadian boundary, defying Buck to catch her to find out why!", "You'll yell your head off!") starring Buck Jones ("The ace outdoor and action star of the screen"), Lona Andre, Fred Kohler, Frank Rice, and Edward Keane. Also note that this three-sheet was printed in 3 sections designed to overlap.

Condition: good to very good. There are some creases and several tears along the folds that were on the outside when the poster was fully folded. There are some creases, smudges, and tiny tears on the other folds, and some tiny paper loss at some crossfolds.
