An Original Vintage 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm] Stage Play Still (Learn More)

Show Boat, the 1927-1929 New York Broadway musical stage play (presented by Florenz Ziegfeld with music written by Oscar Hammerstein & Jerome Kern; "Adapted from Edna Ferber's novel of the same name") that was performed from December 27th, 1927 to May 4th, 1929 at the Ziegfeld Theatre, starring Jules Bledsoe, Allan Campbell, Bert Chapman, Laura Clairon, Charles Ellis, Aunt Jemima, Jack Daley, and Helen Morgan. Of course, this classic show was adapted into three movie versions. The first was in 1929, the second in 1936, and the third in 1951.

Condition: fair. Unfortunately, the still has staining scattered in the right that has discolored Morgan's eye, cheek, hand, and chest (see our image). There is also paper residue from a snipe scattered down the right. Obviously, this wonderful still could be restored, but bear in mind its very significant defects before bidding on it.
