Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the top and bottom crossfolds and some minor fold and border wear. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, but at some point after it was backed, it was roughly handled, and the bottom center of the poster was creased, causing creases in both the linen and the poster (they are mostly in Virginia Weidler's credit). Note that the restorer who mounted the poster did not leave any excess linen around the edges of the poster.
