An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded British Quad Movie Poster (BQ; Quad Crown; measures 30" x 40" [76 x 102 cm]) (Learn More) Giv'a 24 Eina Ona (released in English-speaking countries as "Hill 24 Doesn't Answer"), the 1955 Thorold Dickinson Israeli war action melodrama ("A story of the rebirth of Israel"; "Haya Hararit 'She has some fierce fires banked down under that sunny exterior... It is the look in the eyes of Haya Hararit that will sell this film to the British public' Leonard Mosley 'Daily Express'"; set during the U.N. declared cease fire in Israel in 1947, which would end the fighting there; four Israeli soldiers are told to take possession of a specific hill before the morning, because if they can, it will become Israeli land when the cease fire takes effect; over the course of the film, you learn the involved back stories of the four soldiers) starring Edward Mulhare, Haya Harareet (billed as "Haya Hararit"), Michael Shillo, Michael Wager, Zalman Lebiush, and Margalit Oved. Note that this was the first movie produced in Israel, and first release posters from it are extremely scarce. We have never auctioned a single U.S. poster from this movie, and the only English language poster we have auctioned is a British quad! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned this British quad! It IS the British quad referenced in the description above, and it is the only English language poster from this movie we have ever auctioned! Also note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: very good. The poster has extra creases and small vertical tears in the left quarter of the horizontal fold. It has paper loss in the lower left blank border and tack holes in the corners and in the center of the top and bottom borders. There are some creases on the rest of the folds.
