(British Overseas Airways Corporation) featuring sports art of a baseball player swinging a bat by Aldo Cosomati. If anyone knows more about this poster, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Artist: Aldo Cosomati Condition: good to very good. There is light rippling in the blue background at lower left and right (left and right of, and slightly extending into, the green area) from exposure to moisture. There is a 1 1/4" tear in the left of the bottom edge that has been repaired with a small piece of conservation tape from the back and there is some tattering and small paper loss around the edges of the poster (mostly at lower right and upper left). There are some scuff marks, smudges, and minor creases throughout the poster. The poster is otherwise in generally nice condition and I imagine most travel or sports collectors could quite happily display this really cool poster as it is, but if one chose to have it restored it would look fantastic!
