An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) Bride of Fear, the 1918 Sidney Franklin silent romantic crime melodrama ("A story of true womanhood with a past") starring Jewel Carmen, Charles Gorman, Lee Shumway, and Charles Bennett. Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: good. Note that there is significant paper loss in three areas in the left of the poster, but it is very fortunate that in all three areas only blank background area is affected, except in the lower left corner where the first letter of the story writer's name is missing. Also note that the poster is completely torn roughly in half (the tear is around 1" to the right of the center of the poster, but it is a very clean tear and there is no paper loss. Other than the above defects, the poster is in surprisingly pretty nice condition, and after linenbacking by a top professional, the poster will look great, and the only restoration would be in the blank background areas at left and in the first letter of the story writer's name.
