Artist: Thurston Condition: good to very good. The poster had some creases and scuffs across the center where it was folded. There were a series of holes in the background above Richardson's credit (and extending into the "DS" of "RICHARDSON") that formed numbers (typical of Italian posters of this period). There were creases and smudges in the left and right borders and a 2" tear in the lower right border. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the restoration in the right blank border and the restorer did not address the tiny holes (neither of these defects are very distracting at all).
