Several of his novels and plays have been the basis for many movies, including: Rosemary's Baby, Deathtrap, Sliver, A Kiss Before Dying, The Stepford Wives, and The Boys from Brazil. He passed away in 1978 at the age of 2007. Important Added Info: Note that this letter has been personally autographed (signed) by Ira Levin! Our consignor (who was a diplomat for the U.S. in exotic locations) obtained this autograph through personal correspondence with Mr. Levin. Many of the people she corresponded with specifically mentioned that they were impressed by her exotic address and they seem to write longer responses because of that!
