a lot of 31 fall preview issues of TV Guide. If you are of a certain age (around 55 or older), then you likely remember how giant it was each fall when the TV Guide fall preview issue was published! In those pre-Internet days, people did not know what new shows would be coming up (and at that time, shows went into "reruns" through the summer, and there was a massive "fall preview" week each year), and that TV Guide special issue sold many millions of copies! In the case of these issues, a dedicated collector saved every fall preview issue for 31 years, and they will bought off the newsstand, because they do not have subscription labels on them, and they are generally in really nice condition! Of course, TV Guide is the television magazine ("Alphabetical Index To All Shows") which listed a complete guide to all the TV shows on all the stations in your local area, along with some illustrated articles about then-current shows or stars. They had to publish a different edition for each area, because the TV channels were different in each area (most of the magazine would be the same, but the listings would vary from area to area). Each year they published a special "fall preview" issue, which everybody looked forward to, because in those pre-Internet days, it was one of the best ways to learn what new shows were being added and what old ones had been canceled! For decades, this magazine was in many millions of houses each week, but like so many other companies, it was put out of business by the "guides" that were added to TV screens after cable TV became prevalent! The company was purchased for over a billion dollars in the late 2000s, and an interactive version was created. Note that the items in this lot are from the 1960s to the 1990s. We do not provide a list of these items, but there are images of all of them.
Measurements: each measures approximately 5 1/4" x 7 1/2"

Condition: very good to fine. The issues are generally in really nice condition. A few have some minor wear, but none have subscription labels.
