An Undated (probably 1990s) Re-Release Theatrical Unfolded Cuban Movie Poster (measures 20" x 30" [51 x 76 cm]) (Learn More) The Kid, the classic 1921 Charlie Chaplin silent juvenile family relationship slapstick comedy ("Charles Chaplin in the comedy he took a whole year to produce"; "6 Reels of Joy"; "This is the great Film he has been working on for a whole year"; "The comedy the world famous comedian took a whole year to produce."; "Written and directed by Charles Chaplin"; about a man who repairs broken windows who "adopts" an abandoned child; the boy goes around breaking windows for his "father" to repair, and events put their relationship in jeopardy) starring Charlie Chaplin (billed as Charles Chaplin), Edna Purviance, Jackie Coogan (who would grow up and become Uncle Fester on TV's "The Addams Family"; in the title role as the Kid), Carl Miller, Granville Redmond, and May White. Artist: A Important Added Info: Note that the first release Cuban posters that we have seen from the 1960s and 1970s are printed on a cream colored paper that has a texture to it and is clearly quite old. There are also Cuban posters that are on a pure white paper that is not textured and appears much newer, and we believe those posters to be from 1990s re-releases. Please do not bid on this poster unless you can accept the uncertainty as to the date of its release. Condition: very good. There are a few scuffs in the solid-colored areas of the poster (typical of Cuban posters of this time period.) It is otherwise in pretty nice condition. Learn More about condition grades
