Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: fair. The poster had minor wear on the folds. Someone had written in prices in the bottom right of the poster. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above. Unfortunately, the poster was poorly stored, and it acquired mold and mildew around the edges, both in the excess linen and in the poster. It urgently needs to be re-backed to destroy the mold and mildew. Please do not bid on it unless you can accept this significant defect. Learn More about condition grades
