Fraser cowboy western starring Tex Ritter, Dave 'Tex' O'Brien (billed together as "The Texas Rangers"), Guy Wilkerson, Lorraine Miller and Charles King NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: fair. This poster has been linenbacked, but it was not very well done, likely both because the restorer did not do a good job at all, and because the years since it has been linenbacked have not been kind to the poster. Overall, the poster was in fair to good condition prior to linenbacking. Generally, it had large areas of paper loss around the edges extending into the image, paper loss at the crossfolds, and tears and paper loss on parts of some foldlines. The poster was not well backed at all, because you can still see some or all of the defects generally described above (in some cases, as should be immediately evident in our image, the linenbacker did no restoration to some of the defects), and if there was restoration of the above defects, it was not done very well. Certainly, a talented restorer could perform additional restoration (either with or without re-backing the poster), but it might be fairly expensive to have this done, so bear that in mind before you place a bid.
