His exaggerated portrayal of fashion design changed the fashion industry forever. His artwork is so highly regarded that it is well represented in some of Europe's most prestigious art museums including the Louvre in Paris, France. He passed away in 2004 at the age of 95. Artist: Rene Gruau Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster was never folded and had some faint creases and scuffs in the solid black background areas. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well! Note that after it was backed, someone put pinholes in the corners of the excess linen and it was also roughly handled, causing creases in the lower left and lower right of the excess linen, but it does not affect the poster Learn More about condition grades
