An Autographed Photo Print (measures 18" x 23 1/4" [46 x 59 cm]) (Learn More) Ted Allan was a major Hollywood photographer from the 1930s to the 1960s. He was born in 1910, and in 1933, he opened his own photography studio. In the late 1930s, he worked for MGM, photographing all of their top stars in those years. In the 1960s and 1970s, he was under personal contract to Frank Sinatra, taking pictures of the legendary singer at his recording sessions, while he made movies, and while he was on tour. He passed away in 1993 at the age of 83. Important Added Info: Note that this 18" x 23 1/4" photo print was published in 1981 by Edward Weston Editions, and it has been personally autographed (signed) by photographer Ted Allan! Our consignor purchased it from a major auction house in 1998, and we are certain that the signature is authentic. As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction.
