An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) The Silent Partner, the 1923 Charles Maigne silent romantic melodrama ("From Maximilian Foster's Saturday Evening Post Serial") starring Leatrice Joy, Owen Moore, Robert Edeson, Robert Schable, and Patterson Dial. Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that ANY movie paper items from this movie are incredibly rare. We have only previously auctioned two lobby cards and a still from this movie (and NO other movie paper of any kind) until we received this third lobby card! Note that the vast majority of collectors would assume that this is a title card, but it is not! In the mid to late 1920s, Paramount made many sets of lobby cards where the seven scene cards all LOOK like title cards, but the actual title card is different from the seven scene cards (not too long after this, Paramount abandoned title cards altogether for the most part for the next forty-odd years, instead using a posed portrait of the stars in place of a title card). In the case of this set, ALL eight cards seem to be scene cards! This scene card is from one of those sets where the scene cards are commonly mistaken for title cards. Please do not bid on it thinking it is a title card, as it is a scene card! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: good to very good. The card was folded down the middle at one time but it is otherwise in pretty nice condition.
