An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed German Deluxe 6 3/4" x 9" [17 x 23 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Mona Maris was an Argentinean actress from the 1920s to the 1980s. She started in the 1920s in French and German movies, and then was discovered by Joseph Schenck while performing in Berlin in 1927, and he signed her to a Hollywood contract. Some of her movies include: Heartbeat, The Falcon In Mexico, and Seas Beneath. Mona passed away in 1991 at the age of 87. Important Added Info: Note that this still (which is a deluxe German still from 1928) has been personally autographed (signed) by Mona Maris (she signed the still on the back; see our image)! The still came from the estate of Betty Schellin, who worked for MGM in the 1930s and 1940s, and she personally obtained this autograph from stars she encountered on the MGM lot. Also note that this German still measures 6 3/4" x 9" [17 x 23 cm]. Condition: good. The still was folded vertically 2" from the left. It has some creases, scuffs, and tiny bits of surface paper loss on parts of that fold and around the edges (see our image). There are some faint scuffs scattered throughout the still.
