Douglas"; nominated for the Best Picture Academy Award; with the distinction of being the first movie released in CinemaScope; about the Roman tribune who is sent to Jerusalem right before Christ is crucified, and afterwards, he "wins" the robe that Jesus was wearing, and it changes his life) starring Richard Burton (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film; as Marcellus Gallio), Jean Simmons (as Diana), Victor Mature (as Demetrius), Michael Rennie, Jay Robinson (as Caligula), Dean Jagger, Torin Thatcher, Richard Boone (as Pontius Pilate), Betta St. John, Jeff Morrow, Ernest Thesiger, Dawn Addams, Leon Askin, Michael Ansara (as Judas), and Gloria Saunders. Also note that this is a teaser one-sheet (note the complete lack of credits on the poster). What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had creases above and below the top and bottom folds, with a few other creases scattered in the poster. It had small paper loss in the top of the "R" of the title. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
