An Original Vintage Autographed Movie Program (measures 5 1/2" x 8" [14 x 20 cm]; 4 pages) (Learn More) Frank Sinatra (born Francis Albert Sinatra) was a legendary singer of the 1940s, who became a major movie star that same decade, and continued singing and acting for many years. Some of his movies include: many MGM musicals (some with Gene Kelly), as well as dramatic roles like The Man With The Golden Arm (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), The Manchurian Candidate, and From Here To Eternity (winner of the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film). He, along with his best friends, were known as The Rat Pack, and he was the inspiration for the "Johnny Fontaine" character in the Godfather movies! Sinatra passed away in 1998 at the age of 82. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this item (which is a 4-page program that was created when Mr. Sinatra hosted a benefit premiere showing of "Miracle of the Bells" in 1948 at the Pantages Theater) has been personally autographed (signed) by Frank Sinatra! Note that this item was consigned to us by a man who has been a major movie memorabilia dealer for many years. During that time, he would regularly purchase collections of movie memorabilia from both collectors and people who worked on movies, and in some of those collections he purchased many autographed items, and sometimes he met with celebrities and had them autograph items he owned in person. Both we and our consignor feel it is extremely likely that the autograph on this item is authentic, but he does not have a certificate of authenticity. Condition: good to very good. The program was attached to an album page with glue on the top of the back page, and there are glue stains in that area and slight bleed-through at the top of the third page. There are some creases and scuffs scattered in the program. Learn More about condition grades
