An Original Vintage Unfolded Stage Play Poster (measures 21 1/4" x 28" [54 x 71 cm]) (Learn More)

Fogg's Ferry, the 1893 stage play production ("The new comedy drama"; "The NEW Fogg's Ferry"; "By Chas. E. Callahan"; "'Don't kill me, Mammy!'"). We were able to determine that the playwright, Charles Edward Callahan lived from 1845 to 1917, but we could find no further information (and Fogg's Ferry appears to be a fictional location). A knowledgeable collector tells us that this was a late 1800s touring stage show which centered around the character of the daughter of a wealthy judge. If anyone knows more about this stage play, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Condition: fair. The poster was never folded. It has paper tape on the back of each border. There is paper loss in the upper left, extending into the background, and a repaired tear at bottom center. Please look at our super-sized image to get a good sense of the exact condition of this item.
