Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (measures 11" x 14") (Learn More)

The Sea Hawk, the 1940 Michael Curtiz swashbuckling romantic pirate adventure thriller ("Never before so many thrills! Never such adventure, such romance! Sail to high adventure with 'The Robin Hood of the Sea'!"; set in the time of the war between England and Spain, and the English navy has had no success against the Spanish armada, and in desperation, Queen Elizabeth hires a buccaneer to see what he can do, and of course, he has much success!) starring Errol Flynn, Brenda Marshall, Claude Rains, Donald Crisp, Flora Robson (as Queen Elizabeth I), Alan Hale Sr., and Henry Daniell
NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.

Condition: fair. card has darkened (typical of Warner Bros. linen cards of this period), but this card has darkened more than most; there was a 4" tear in the top middle of the card that was repaired with tape from the back; there were many pinholes around the edges of the card and paper loss in the left corners (someone crudely replaced the top left corner); there are many small dot stains in the image; there are six large pieces of brown tape on the back of the card

Obviously this card has lots of problems, but I would think a talented restorer could greatly improve on them, hopefully without putting a lot of paint on the card!
