An Original Vintage Autographed Magazine (measures 8 1/2" x 11" [22 x 28 cm]) (Learn More) John Zacherle (almost always simply referred to as "Zacherley" or "Zacherly") was an actor, television & radio host, author, and voice actor from the 1950s to 2016. He was best known for hosting several horror and science fiction (sci-fi) movie television (TV) shows as the character of Roland/Zacherley, and he and his shows were responsible for creating a huge number of horror/sci-fi fans over the past several decades. He was inducted into the Horror Host Hall of Fame in 2011. He continued to attend movie shows of all sorts in full makeup. He passed away in 2016 at the age of 98. Our consignor is a longtime dealer who acquired this signed item among many other purchases in his inventory, and he does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we believe the signature to likely be authentic. Also note that we have provided a picture of the front cover of the magazine, and pictures of interior two-page spreads (including the table of contents page if there is one; but we didn't make much effort to find the best ones!).
