Potter biographical vaudeville dancing romantic musical comedy ("Dramatic! Thrilling! Beautiful!"; "The Texas Tommy"; "The Maxixe"; "The Castle Walk"; "The Tango"; "At last Fred and Ginger in a great Dramatic Love Story!"; "Adaptation by Oscar Hammerstein II & Dorothy Yost") starring Fred Astaire (in the title role as Vernon Castle), Ginger Rogers (in the title role as Irene Castle), Edna May Oliver, Walter Brennan, Lew Fields, Etienne Girardot, and Janet Beecher. Note that this was the last of the nine wonderful movies that Astaire and Rogers made between 1933 and 1939 (they made one final movie, "The Barkleys of Broadway", ten years later in 1949). NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Jacques Bonneaud Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfold and separation and tiny bits of paper loss on parts of each foldline. There was a 2" horizontal tear in the top center background area and a matching one in the bottom center of the poster, at the bottom of the "Gr" of "Grande". It had pinholes around the edges.
