3 Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Cards (LCs; measure 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More)

Mystery Mountain, the 1934 Otto Brower & B. Reeves Eason cowboy western serial ("With an All-Star Cast"; "A Mascot Serial In Twelve Smashing, Action-Loaded Chapters") starring Ken Maynard (billed as "The mightiest of western stars"), Tarzan (billed as "with his Wonder Horse 'Tarzan'"), Verna Hillie, Syd Saylor, Smiley Burnette (uncredited in his third movie role!), Bob Kortman, and Gene Autry (uncredited in his second movie role, just before he became famous)

Important Added Info: Note that to the best of our knowledge, this is a serial that did not have a "feature version" (a ninety minute or two hour condensation of all the chapters into a single feature film). However, these cards represent a real mystery! There are cards that look just like this that are from chapter 1, EXCEPT THEY HAVE "Chapter 1. THE RATTLER" printed in the area under the title. One would THINK that this would be a case of the studio or theater gluing a blank paper snipe over that area so that they could be used when showing other chapters, but that is NOT the case! The cards are printed with purple in that area (it is how they were printed). Our best guess is that these cards were created for theaters that wanted to be able to use them for any of the chapters. Normally we would think it would be for a feature version of the movie, but as we said above, we don't know if such a feature version, and besides they didn't change the "Mascot Serials" in the lower right, which they normally would do. Chapter 1 cards from this serial are incredibly rare anyway, and we have never seen any other cards like these!

Condition: very good to fine. The card in the right of our image has slight staining on the back of the right side, but it does not really affect the front at all and otherwise all three cards are in wonderfui condition!
