Some of his movies include: Death Of A Salesman (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film); The Best Years Of Our Lives (winner of the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), Inherit the Wind, Seven Days in May, Les Miserables, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (winner of the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), Design for Living, The Desperate Hours, and A Star Is Born (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film). Note that at a few times in his career, he was billed as "Frederic"! He passed away in 1975 at the age of 77.
